Kia has 51,568 2022 – 2023 Kia Carnival minivans whose power sliding doors may fail to reverse once they start to close. This can result in an injury to occupants limbs. The recall comes on the back of a U.S government investigation, as well as at least nine injuries, including a broken arm.

Daimler issues second recall for trucks with faulty windshield wipers

Daimler, which owns Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) including the FCCC and Freightliner brands, expanded an April 2022 recall conducted due to to faulty windshield wipers by 54,000 trucks. This defect can lead to an accident.

Used car dealer CarMax to disclose open recalls on vehicles on sale

Used-car dealer CarMax has agreed to disclose open recalls on vehicles it sells in 36 states. The agreement was achieved after a seven-year investigation conducted by multiple states into claims that CarMax failed to adequately disclose that some of its cars were subject to unrepaired recalls.
