Kia Stinger Recalled Over Fire Risk

Kia is recalling 16,011 of its 2018 Stinger hatchbacks because faulty wiring could lead to a fire.

Wires in the engine and passenger compartment can get damaged if they rub against a rough patch of the vehicle’s left fender, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. That could lead to a short circuit, which could lead to a fire, NHTSA says.
