Bologna, Italy – January 15, 2025 – Lamborghini (OTCMKTS:VWAGY) is recalling 10,554 2019-2024 Lamborghini Urus SUVs whose rearview cameras may fail to show an image. This defect reduces visibility, upping the chances of a crash and injury, or property damage.
Recall summary
The rearview camera in the affected vehicles may deactivate because of a software error.
Recall risks
With no rearview image while backing up, the driver is more likely to crash into surrounding objects or pedestrians.
Other Lamborghini recalls
Lamborghini has not had any major recalls in the past year, with the latest one dating to January 2024, when nearly 8,000 Huracan sports cars were recalled over incorrectly adjusted headlights.
The repair
The carmaker is currently developing a more robust camera software. Once it is available, it will be installed free of charge.
