Tesla recalls Cybertrucks with detaching light bars

Austin, TX – November 6, 2025 – Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA) is recalling 6,197 2024 Tesla Cybertruck electric vehicles (EVs) because their light bars may fall off. This would create a road hazard, upping the risk of a crash and injury.

Recall summary

The affected electric pickup trucks have an optional light bar glued to the top of their windshields. Because of the “incorrect surface primer,” the light bar may detach from the car while driving.
