Stellantis recalls Jeep Wagoner SUVs over fly-away trim

Auburn Hills, MI – March 26, 2026 – Stellantis (NYSE:STLA), which owns the Jeep brand, is recalling 11,767 2024-2026 Jeep Wagoneer S SUVs whose trim may detach while driving.

This creates a road hazard for other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash and injury.

Recall summary

The liftgate hinges have plastic covers to improve the vehicle’s aerodynamics and appearance. On the affected SUVs, the hinge covers may be loose and could fly off while driving.

Recall risks

A detached plastic cover may become road debris and cause an accident.

Warning signs

The driver may hear a rattling noise while driving or notice that the hinge cover is not seated correctly.
