Recall summary
A vehicle is propelled forward thanks to the driveshaft which delivers power to the wheels.
Due to a supplier error, the driveshaft in the affected vehicles may not withstand the load and break.
Recall risks
With no power delivered to the wheels, the vehicle may stall, upping the risk of getting hit from behind.
In addition, if the car is parked on the incline without the parking brake applied, it may roll away.
Other Nissan recalls

The repair
The dealers will replace the driveshaft free of charge.
