Franklin, TN – March 6, 2026 – Nissan (OTCMKTS:NSANY) is recalling a total of 318,781 2024 -2025 Nissan Rogue SUVs over a loss of motive power. This defect ups the risk of a crash and injury.
Recall summary
A throttle body controls the amount of air going into the engine, which determines its speed. On startup, a computer called an engine control module (ECM) tests the throttle valve by closing it to make sure it is able to serve its function while driving.
In the affected SUVs, the test may be performed too aggressively due to a software glitch. Over time that can result in the throttle body’s internal mechanism breaking. This may cause a loss of motive power and prevent gear engagement upon startup.
Recall risks
A loss of motive power or inability to shift into gear increases the risk of a crash.
